The businesses owned by Entelechy Enterprises represent a combination of the extensive career experience of the Founders, Terry Jackson and Jennifer Benedek, and well researched decisions to move into different industries.

Terry Jackson

 

Jennifer Benedek’s background and broad experience span marketing, market research, business development and sales over 25 years. She has performed in-house roles and advised smaller to larger organisations and not-for-profits across diverse industries.

Her marketing career commenced in professional services at a global firm, and positions since have covered national, medium, and small organisations to member-based and family-run organisations for B2B and B2C markets.

She has held an executive committee marketing position and other volunteer positions contributing to the community working with outstanding leaders in their field and truly passionately driven people, and at the same time, having the opportunity to provide relevant marketing and business skills. She is a member of The Research Society (Australia) and the Australian Marketing Institute.

Jennifer is the founder of two of the company’s businesses, the marketing arm FWD Focus advising and guiding on strategy, planning and execution to clients operating under more local to Australia-wide and global brands, and On Point Support, providing business support to SMBs. She provides higher-level direction giving all clients increased confidence in marketing and focusing on the best outcomes and results for their situation. She currently heads a team of nine based in Australia from Sydney.

Her strong interest in the game of snooker and Terry’s passion for pool means both Co-Founders are keen to support the cuesports scene here in Australia through their latest business investment in Club Nine.

Terry Jackson holds academic engineering qualifications with comprehensive and extensive experience over three decades in manufacturing, engineering, and project management, covering:

  • electronics manufacturing with PCB assembly and Box Build production lines,
  • manufacturing marine seismic survey cables used for oil and gas exploration,
  • the mining sector relating to Komatsu, trucks and excavators and more recently, intrinsically safe equipment,
  • manufacturing communications systems in defence,
  • the regulated medical device industry,
  • the 3D printing and scanning technology sector, additive manufacturing, adding to his knowledge in the rapid prototyping space and,
  • numerous Factory and Warehouse layouts, including several from empty spaces to fully operational businesses.

His roles have included Operations Manager, Technical Operations Manager, Manufacturing Specialist, Project Team Leader, and Production Manager. He has formerly performed as a Senior Production and Manufacturing Engineer.

Terry is a big ideas person and problem solver – the more technical, the better.

He is actively involved with cuesports and loves his stats, along with helping others learn the games and working with associations and tournament directors with his extensive experience running large events and leagues.

He has hands-on experience operating a cafe, as well as proven knowledge of ergonomics, layouts and workflow within a cafe set-up.
